Bibi Ka Maqbara, often called the “Taj of the Deccan,” is a 17th-century Mughal mausoleum built by Aurangzeb’s son, Azam Shah, in memory of his mother Dilras Banu Begum. The monument features elegant Mughal architecture with a marble dome, symmetrical gardens and intricate carvings—clearly inspired by the Taj Mahal but with its own distinct Deccan character. It’s one of Aurangabad’s most iconic and photogenic landmarks.
